The sacred machine texts of the CCRU reminded me of Borges' short-story Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius. Nick Land got lost in a labyrinth of his own making.
Reading about the outside reminded me of the nothing gobbling up fantasia.
But to be fair, if we posit ourselves (humans, earth) as just another set of characters in another story, older and grander, that's not such a bad thing and might be closer to "the truth" than our current dominant narratives. It could also lead to humility and genuine interest in "what else is there, beyond."
The trouble with accelerationists is their inability to define the end state. A bit like the infinite growth.
Isn;t Land the guy who helped Yarvin brew up the Dark Enlightenment/NRx? He sure seems mentally ill to me.
Indeed, and he has a piece by the same name.
That will be part 3 :)

Yes... Easy to get lost when you blur the line between fiction and reality, when you take extreme directions and dismiss all the warnings.
Now he's out (or is he?), and trying to entrap everyone else...
Nice write-up!
